Get to know your engagement + wedding photographer!

Wedding days are stressful! Your photographer spends the most time with you on your wedding day so you are definitely going to want to like them, right? We don’t want it to feel like the first tinder date! Therefore, having your wedding photographer be a part of your engagement pictures allows for the photographer and you/your partner feel like they know each other and not have the awkward first date vibes.

I make sure to include both of you in my conversation to make sure you are both comfortable with me! I strive to make the session fun and stress-free! If we need it and you’re feeling extra nervous, I will even bring you some liquid courage!!

Get comfortable in front of the camera!

We get it! Most people are not going to be comfortable in front of cameras! Additionally, most people are not models that get their photo taken every day. Taking engagement photos helps you start to feel comfortable in front of the camera, doing the poses and just being photographed in general! After that, you’ll probably start to feel like you ARE a model by the end of it. (I promise!)

Photos are timeless!

This is the most important part! I swear you will want your engagement photos to remember this season of life! Additionally, you can use these photos for any occasion even if you don’t want to use them for your engagement announcement photos. You can print your photos, save them as screensavers, use them in any way that you both desire. You’ll be thankful that you decided to capture the moment of your engagement and enjoy this day over and over again!
